  • Job applicants and candidates

  • Personnel hired by ISS in Colombia (when applicable)

2) Personal Data We Collect

A) Business Contacts

  • Name, email, phone number, job title, company

  • Messages you send us (via forms, email, WhatsApp, or other channels you use to contact us)

  • Basic interaction history (e.g., follow-ups, meeting scheduling)

B) Candidates / Job Applicants

  • Identification and contact information (name, email, phone, city)

  • Resume/CV content: work history, education, skills, references (if included)

  • Recruitment process information: interview scheduling and notes (as applicable), job preferences, availability

Where CVs are stored:
Candidates’ CVs and application data are collected and stored within our WordPress website. In some cases, recruitment communications and related files may also be stored in Outlook and/or Microsoft OneDrive.

C) Website & Technical Data

When you use our website, we may collect:

  • IP address, device type, browser type

  • Pages visited, approximate location (derived), referral source

  • Cookie identifiers and event data used for analytics and advertising (see Section 8)

3) How We Use Your Data (Purposes)

Website / Business Purposes

  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about ISS services

  • Schedule meetings and manage communications

  • Prepare proposals and evaluate potential business relationships

  • Maintain website security and prevent misuse

Recruitment / Hiring Purposes

  • Evaluate applications and communicate with candidates

  • Match candidates to roles supporting client needs (nearshore/BPO delivery)

  • Conduct hiring processes and onboarding for roles contracted by ISS in Colombia (if applicable)

  • Maintain a candidate database for future roles only where permitted by law and/or with your consent

4) Legal Bases for Processing

ISS processes personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases (as applicable):

  • Consent (e.g., submitting forms, applying for jobs, cookie consent where required)

  • Pre-contractual steps and contractual necessity (e.g., responding to requests, hiring steps)

  • Legal obligations (labor, tax, accounting, corporate compliance in Colombia)

5) Employment Model (Important Clarification)

ISS operates as a BPO/nearshore provider. Even if our clients are located in the United States, ISS hires and contracts personnel in Colombia under Colombian applicable employment rules and related obligations, as applicable to each role and engagement.

6) Sharing of Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data only when necessary with:

  • Service providers (processors) supporting website and business operations, such as:

    • Website hosting, WordPress-related services and plugins

    • Email and productivity tools (Outlook / Microsoft 365)

    • File storage (Microsoft OneDrive)

  • Advertising and analytics partners (through cookies and similar technologies):

    • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

    • Google Ads

    • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms)

  • Authorities or legal advisors when required by law or to protect rights and security.

7) International Data Transfers

Because some vendors and analytics/ads providers operate globally (including outside Colombia), your data may be processed in other countries. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections, access controls, security practices).

8) Cookies, GA4, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Analytics (GA4): to understand site usage and improve performance

  • Advertising (Google Ads & Meta Pixel): to measure campaign performance, build audiences, and show relevant ads

9) Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Business inquiries: for the duration of communications and a reasonable period for follow-up and recordkeeping.

  • Candidate data: during the recruitment process and, if applicable, for a reasonable period for future opportunities, unless you request deletion when legally applicable.

  • Employment-related data (if hired): as required by Colombian labor, tax, and accounting retention obligations.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and secure storage practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect confidentiality.

11) Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access, correct, or update your personal data

  • Withdraw consent where applicable

  • Request deletion where legally applicable

You may also submit complaints to Colombia’s Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) if you believe your rights have been violated.
